Lindsay Clandfield

is an award-winning writer, teacher, teacher trainer and international speaker in the field of English language teaching. He has written more than ten coursebooks and is the main author of the adult course Global (Macmillan). Lindsay is the series editor of the Delta Teacher Development books and has co-written various methodology books for teachers, notably Teaching Online and Dealing with Difficulties (Delta Publishing). Lindsay is also the creative force behind various web projects including the hugely popular blog Six Things and the innovative e-publishing collective The Round. Ola Dykta

is widely known for her very popular blog Ola.Lerni.Us and her role in developing the LERNI project. She is involved in developing and evaluating mobile and desktop applications, with an eye on how to make the process of foreign language learning more and more effective. Ola is also an academic lecturer at several tertiary institutions – she works with pre-service teachers, showing them how to make the most of new technologies in their future teaching. She is the author of – the first on-line coursebook formally approved by Ministry of Education in 2011 for use in Polish schools. She’s been awarded with European Language Label 2012 for one of her projects.  

John Hughes

is an award-winning ELT author. With over 30 titles, his main course series include 'Life' (National Geographic Learning) and 'Business Result' (Oxford University Press). He has also written methodology books and is the series editor of the 'ETpedia' resource series ( Like most teachers, John wrote his first materials when he started teaching English in Poland 25 years ago. Later, as head of company courses in Florence, Italy he designed and produced specialist ESP materials for clients. Nowadays, as well as writing, he offers training and consultancy in materials writing. This year, he co-wrote 'ETpedia Materials Writing' with Lindsay Clandfield - a book containing 500 ideas for teachers to create their own English Language materials. His blog is

Jamie Keddie

is a teacher, trainer and storyteller. He is the founder of Lessonstream, and the author of ‘Images’ (OUP 2009), ‘Bringing online video into the classroom’ (OUP 2014) and ‘Videotelling’ (Lessonstream Books, 2017). Jamie is an associate trainer at Norwich institute for Language Education.

Karolina Kotorowicz-Jasińska

is a graduate of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and holds a PhD degree in applied linguistics. Her teaching practice began for good when she was still a student and discovered that teaching English is great fun. Since then she has had an opportunity to work with different age groups at all proficiency levels, ranging from students of the EnglishDepartments in Lublin and Warsaw, to primary school kids at Canadian School of Warsaw.

Over the years Karolina has gained considerable writing experience with a major international ELT publisher, including her contribution to the Workbooks of Password course series for upper-secondary learners, and her role as the head writer of the best-selling Repetytorium Gimnazjalisty (Macmillan). She has also been involved in developing tests for school e-diagnosis, coursebook adjustments to the core curriculum requirements, coursebook exam sections, photocopiable materials, as well as teaching plans and methodology guides. Karolina is also a regular contributor to The Teacher journal.

Christina Rebuffet-Broadus

is a business English entrepreneur based in Grenoble, France. A trainer since 2004, she set up her own one-woman business in 2012. She has created a community of more than 10,000 online language learners thanks to her blog & YouTube Channel Speak English With Christina.

She believes in giving English teachers the confidence and skills to show clients the true value of their work.

Marta Rosińska

holds an MA in Linguistics (University of Łódź) and Advanced Diploma in English Teaching Management (University of Cambridge). Marta is a senior lecturer, head teacher trainer and Director of Studies at the English Language Centre, University of Łódź. She is also a freelance teacher trainer and EFL project manager for DOS ELTea, including the innovative Teacher Trainer Academy course, shortlisted for the prestigious British Council ELTON award 2016.

Marta is a very prolific and highly esteemed ELT author. Her main publications are: Format,  Matura Masters, Password, Repetytorium Maturalne, Repetytorium Gimnazjalne, Repetytorium Szóstoklasisty, all for Macmillan Education.

Tomasz Sztyber

is a graduate of Warsaw University where he completed his MA in linguistics. Since the graduation, he has worked as an examiner at the University Council for the Certification of Language Proficiency, upper-primary teacher and author of teaching materials. Since 2009, he has been part of Macmillan Polska team as a commissioning editor in charge of several major, highly successful coursebook titles.

Grzegorz Śpiewak

is a university lecturer, teacher trainer, EFL project manager, adviser, reviewer, editor, and author. He is Head ELT Consultant for Macmillan Central & Eastern Europe, as well as President of  DOS-ELTea, an independent teacher development centre, recently nominated for the prestigious British Council ELTON award for its flagship project, Teacher Trainer Academy.

Grzegorz holds an MA in Linguistics from University of Essex, PhD in Language & Linguistics from University of Warsaw. He is a former senior lecturer and deputy director for Practical English & CLIL at the Institute of English Studies, University of Warsaw, and also a tutor on an on-line MA TESOL Programme hosted by The New School for Social Research, New York. He’s served as vice-president and president of IATEFL Poland.

Grzegorz has been a very active EFL writer and editor. He’s co-authored (with Marta Rosińska) Macmillan’s best-selling Egzamin Gimnazjalny. Repetytorium z Testami. He’s also the head author of Angielski dla rodziców deDOMO an innovative series of support publications, awarded with European Language label 2012. He is a regular contributor to The Teacher, Języki Obce w Szkole, and also reviewer for the ELTJournal. He is also a keen blogger, most recently for the Teddy Eddie project.
